CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 6 60 8 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />OF THE ORONO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION <br />FOR A ONE DAY GAMBLING ACTIVITY <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has submitted an application to <br />conduct lawful gambling activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has proposed to conduct a one day <br />gambling activity (raffle) as part of its fundraising activities at the Orono High School on <br />Wednesday, July 13"', 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association is required to obtain approval of the <br />one day gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br />gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the application of the Orono Baseball Association to conduct a one day gambling <br />activity (raffle) at the Orono High School, 795 Old Crystal Bay Road N., on July 13, 2016. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 11 d' day of April, <br />2016. <br />ATTEST: <br />e, City Clerk <br />Lili Tod McMillan, Mayor <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
