Due to the fact the building is unsecured and has serious structural <br /> issues due to rot the city has deemed it to be a hazard. <br /> Therefore the city is issuing an order to secure the building within 6 days. If you fail to secure <br /> the building the city will cause the building to be secured and the cost will be charged against <br /> the property as a special assessment per MN State Statute 463.251. Due to the condition of the <br /> buildings the city is considering initiating a Hazardous Building action to require repair or <br /> removal of the structures.
