The permit must be picked up i.n <br /> person at the City Offices and work must noc begin unless the permit card is on the job <br /> sice. <br /> 2. Permits will be issued only to con[ractors holdin� a City of Orono Septic System <br /> Installers License. <br /> 3. All work must be done in accordance �vith the approved septic system desi�n. Desi�n <br /> reports are not considered approved unless accompan.ied by the "City of Orono Septic <br /> Syscem Approval" cover sheet si�ned by the City Inspector. <br /> 4, The followin� inspections will be required for all septic systems: <br /> A. Pre-installation site inspection to include inspector, installer, and general contractor. <br /> B. Tank installation prior to coverin�. <br /> C. Drainfield trench i.nstallation prior to coverin�. For mounds, inspection is required <br /> after rouQh-up but prior to sand placemenc (sand will be jar tesced for silt content), <br /> and a�ain during pressure distribution pipin� installation in the rock bed. <br /> D. Final inspection to verify proper final cover depths and to verify that all pump station <br /> (where required) components are functional and comply with codes. <br /> 5, Individual holdin�NIPCA Installer Certifica[e shall be present durin� inspections: A 2`�' <br /> hour notice is required for all inspections. <br />
