For heat recovery ventilators(HRV)and energy recovery ventila- <br /> tors (ERV)the average hourly ventilation capacity must be determined in consideration of any reduction of exhaust or out outdoor <br /> air intake,or both,for defrost or other equipment cycling. <br /> Continuous ventilation-A minimum of 50 percent of the total ventilation rate, but not fess than 40 cfm shall be provided, on a con- <br /> tinuous rate average for each one-hour period.
