� City o� ORONO <br /> • RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 2209 <br /> • - • • <br /> A RESOLIITION RECOGNIZING <br /> WILLIAM J. 'BILL' CARLSON, OTILITY FOREMAN <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has been employed by the City of Orono <br /> from January 7, 1967 to June 30, 1987; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has served as a Light Equipment <br /> Operator, Utility Mechanic and Utility Foreman during those 241 years <br /> and five months; and <br /> WHER�AS, Bill Carlson has experienced the construction of the <br /> Navarre water system and the expansion of the sanitary sewer system in <br /> the City of Orono; and <br /> � <br /> WHSREAS, Bill Carlson has been very instrumental in achieving <br /> • the high ratings of the municipal water system by the Minnesota Health <br /> Department; and <br /> WH]3REAS, Bill Carlson has achieved an outstanding record of <br /> maintaining the extensive and diverse sanitary sewer system in the <br /> . City of Orono; and <br /> , <br /> WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has earned a very high respect of the <br /> Orono City Council, the Orono City staff and the citizens of Orono. <br /> NOW, THERSFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that by this resolution the <br /> Orono City Council and the residents of Orono and the Orono City staff <br /> do show their appreciation for dedication of outstanding service. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 22nd <br /> day of June 1987. <br /> -- ------ -- ------ --- <br /> .
