_ _ - _ ..,_ _ _... . . _._-- - _ _ <br /> �; , � <br /> � Cit� o� ORONO <br /> � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 2191 <br /> � <br /> " • � • • <br /> A RESOLIITION ORDERING REVOCATIOY�1 <br /> OF TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br /> OF HAZARDOUS BIIILDING AT <br /> 3536 LSCRIC AVENOE, ORONO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> ••� <br /> WHEREAS, Richard Bowman Gilmore, Mary Ellen Anthony and Audry S. <br /> Gilmore are the owners of record and Charles Lewis Henke has an interest in <br /> the property located at 3536 Lyric Avenue, Orono, Minnesota, herein <br /> referred to as "the property", and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 19 & 20, Block 4, "Navarre Heights", Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (P.I.D. 17-117-23 43 0056) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br /> considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota State Building Code 1305.1000 <br /> Section 307 (a) , hereby finds that the above described property is <br /> uninhabitable and contains hazardous conditions which constitute a public <br /> • nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the public health, <br /> safety and welfare based on the following findings: <br /> l. Improper footings - concrete blocks stacked without mortar in <br /> joints - improper depth. <br /> 2. Building is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, thus it <br /> is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota State Building <br /> Code/Uniform Building Code, Section 203. <br /> 3. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by the <br /> Building Official on September 24, 1982, February 23, 1983, July 19, <br /> 1983, February 19, 1985 and September 10, 1986. These orders have not <br /> been complied with. <br /> PaOW, THEREFOR$, BY� IT RESOLV ED a s f o 11 ows: <br /> l. That the City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to Minnesota <br /> State Building Code/Uniform Building Code Section 307 (f) hereby <br /> orders the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy revoked. <br /> 2. The City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to the foregoing . <br /> findings and in accordance with Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform <br /> Building Code 1305.1000 Section 307 (a) hereby orders the owner(s) of <br /> the property to vacate the building on or before June 15, 1987. <br /> .
