The system consisfis of 2-130Q gallon <br /> septia tanks, 1�1300 �allon pumping chamber& a pressurized mound system with a 10' <br /> x 74' rock bed. <br /> Soil boring #1 found mottled soil (redox features) at 20" belovu the swrface. Soil bor�ng <br /> #3 found the original soil at elev.105.2 8� the bo#tom of�he rock bed at elev.107.3 which <br /> leaves 2.1' vf sand b�low the rock bed. Soil bori�ng #2 found mottled soil afi 26" below <br /> the original soil (6" of i�ill soil), Soil boring #4 found the original soil at elev.104.9 8� the <br /> bottom of the rock bec� at elev.106.6 which leaves 2,3' of sand below fihe rock bed. <br /> This sysfiem mee#s a 3' separat�on from the bottom of the rack bed & redox fieatures � is <br /> clas�sified as in compli�nce wi#h Minnesota Chapter 70�0 rules. <br /> The tanks were pumped by Elmer J, Peterson Co. �nrhich found no (eaks a# the time. <br /> Nothing ather than gray water (laundry, showers, etc.) human waste 8� toilet tissue <br /> should be disposed of infio the septic tanks. G�rbage disposals are not recommended, <br /> due to adding more solids 8� fine solids passing through to #he system. ReCommend fio <br /> divert iron filters out of the sysfiem, recommend to divert the water softner also if <br /> diuerting the iron filter. Excessive amaunts of soaps, antibacterial soaps, cleaning <br /> agents, show�r cleaners used every shower & chlorine agents may ki(I the bacteria <br /> needed to fireat septic �ffluent. Additives are nat recommended. �ecommend to pump <br /> & clean your tanks through the manhole by a cer�ified pumper every 2 years.
