6 . Mechanical Desi�ns - complete calculations , details and <br /> specifications are required for each heating, ventilation , <br /> humidification/dehumidification, and air conditioning installation <br /> including heat loss/heat gain calculation, design temperatures, <br /> equipment ratings and identification as to type, manufacturer and <br /> madel. Data shall be presented on form provided. Identification of <br /> and specifications for water heating equipment shall also be provided. <br /> 7. Specifications - (if applicable ) may be separate or part of <br /> drawings and shall include description of materials to be used, <br /> identified as to grade, species, type, manufacturer, and conditions of <br /> use. If not included on plan, specifications shall include detailed <br /> thermal transmittance calculations together with supporting data used <br /> in computatione <br /> B. All applications for structures which require driveway access or <br /> involve a change in use of an existing access to a County highway or City <br /> road, must be accompanied by an access permit issued by th� Hennepin County <br /> Highway Department or Orono Public Works Department. <br /> C. For projects which will require the installation of an on-site sewage <br /> treatment system, a site evaluation report and system design must be <br /> submitted with the building permit application. <br /> D. For all projects located in Lakeshore Residential Zoning Districts, <br /> hardcover limitations apply. Hardcover, by definition, is any structure, <br /> blacktop, or other material which interferes to any degree with the direct <br /> absorption of rainfali into the ground. Hardcover calculations must <br /> accompany each application involving additional proposed hardcover in the <br /> affected zoning districts. See the attached "Hardcover Worksheet". <br /> E. One set of building plans and specifications nOted with corrections or <br /> code compliance date and stamped as approved by the Building Official will <br /> be returned with the permit. This approved coPy must be k_ept on the <br /> individual job site, available to insPection personnel throughout the <br /> construction. � � <br /> F. Residential Plan reviews will require a minimum of 3 to 7 working days <br /> for staff review. All new commercial structures must be approved by the <br /> Orono Council. Modification of existing commercial structures will require <br /> a minimum of 2 weeks for staff review. <br /> G. A Certificate of Occupancy is required prior to the use or occupancy of <br /> any new structure erected within the City. This certificate will be issued <br /> by the Building Official at such time as final inspections demonstrate that <br /> code compliance has been achieved. Final inspections are required for all <br /> existing structures altered or changed in use.
