Along with the notice was the following information: <br /> <br />• Service area map with parcel count, <br />• Contract cost for Wayzata and Long Lake, <br />• Fire call response times, and <br />• Call history for 3 years <br /> <br />The City Council may open the public hearing to receive input on the possible change in fire <br />service providers. Six (6) written comments were received and are attached for your <br />consideration. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />1. Consider a motion to terminate the Wayzata Fire Contract effective Dec. 31, 2016 and <br />amend the coverage area to be serviced by Long Lake Fire Department. <br />2. Consider a motion to affirm the current agreement with Wayzata Fire Department.
