The
soils in the area of a possible system are mottled (redox features) less than 36" below
the ground surface. To find the tank or tanks, the supply line will need to be excavated
and followed to the tank &then abandon, pump & fill with soil.

This On-Site Sewage Treatment System is Designed for a Type1 , four droom home
(375ga1/day), in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control A y Chapter 7080
and local ordinances.
The soils on this site are loam to clay loam. No seasonally saturated soils were
present to a depth of 78". A standard trench system may be installed using Infiltrator
chambers.
The soils at a depth of 36" have a percolation rate of 60.0 mpi.
Install 2-1000 gallon plastic tanks with an effluent screen at the outlet of the 2nd tanks.
Recommend to insulate the top & a minimum of 4' down the sides of the tanks.
All neighboring wells are located greater than 100' away from the proposed treatment
area. The well on this site will be abandoned & a new well drilled.
1
