It is for a type one dwelling with <br /> and estimated flow of'750 gallons per day. Soils information indicated a seasonat water <br /> table at 24 inches. A Mound System will be required to meet the 3-foot sepazation from <br /> the seasonal high watertable as required by MPCA Agency Rules and Standards, Chapter <br /> 748Q, 81. A water meter and or event counter must be installed to determine flows. <br /> The Mound System design area is 46 feet wide with a Iength of 93 feet. Pin Flags and <br /> lath have marked the loca.tion of the soil borings,plus the boundary of the systezn. <br /> The proposed system will require{2) 1500-gallon septic tanks, and(1) 1500-gaIlon <br /> dosing tanlc wi11 need to be instalted. The existing tanks will need to be pumped and <br /> determined if they can be used as part of the new system. The pump will need to be sized <br /> to deliver 36 gallons per minute with a lift af 16 feet of total head. <br /> The setback for the weli from the septic system area must be a minimum of SQ feet for <br /> both the septic tanks and the absorption area. The contractor must verify the location of <br /> the well. The septic tanks will need to be at least 10 feet from the edge of the house and <br /> the absorption field must be 14 feet away from properiy Iines.
