# <br /> � cit� o� oR,oNO � <br /> • RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ' � � <br /> � NO. 2179 <br /> � <br /> ' • � • • , <br /> A RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF <br /> WINTON BURMASTER <br /> WHEREAS , Winton Burmaster began his employment as a <br /> Patrol Officer with the City of Orono in 1962; and � <br /> WH��3AS, Winton Burmaster was promoted to the position <br /> of Sergeant with the Orono Police Department on 1979; and <br /> � WH�R��S , Winton Burmaster achieved the position of <br /> Assistant Chief of the Police Department on 198f� and remained in <br /> . that position until his retirement � in 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City in recognition of his hard work and <br /> many efforts for the City , its citizens and tho`se of the <br /> communities of Long Lake, Spring Park and Minnetonka Beach did <br /> establish June 14 , 1986 as Winton Burmaster Day in the City of <br /> � Orono to coincide with his retirement party; and <br /> WH�R��IS, Winton Burmaster proved himself a willing and <br /> dedicated Police Officer not only in the enforcement of laws but <br /> in assisting the citizens of the community to overcome their <br /> troubles; and <br /> WHB3RI�A�, Winton Burmaster passed away on April 26 , 1987 . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVI?D, that the City of Orono, <br /> in appreciation of the many efforts and the fine individual that <br /> Winton Burmaster was, extends its sympathy to his wife Rosie <br /> Burmaster and his family upon the death of Winton Burmaster. <br /> ATT SI . <br /> T: Jam s R. abek, Mayor <br /> �---.. • <br /> �. <br /> D othy M. llin, City Clerk <br /> • <br /> �, _. _--______.__________�r..___---�._._____.._._._._..___._____.__. <br />
