Bracken filed a <br /> petition with the City of Orono requesting vacation of a drainage and <br /> utility easement orginally dedicated in the plat of The Farm at Long <br /> Lake legally described as a drainage and utility easement along the <br /> shared lot line of Lots 16 and 17, Block l, The Farm at Long Lake, <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br /> WH$REAS, after due published and posted notice, a public <br /> • hearing was held before the Planning Commission on March 16, 1987 at <br /> 7:30 p.m. in order to review the impact of the proposed vacation and <br /> al 1 interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due standing and consideration, the Planning <br /> Commission voted to recommend approval of the petition for vacation as <br /> proposed based on the following findings: <br /> 1. The existing drainage and utility easement does not serve any <br /> drainage purpose nor do utilities occupy the easement area. <br /> 2. The unused drainage and utility easement as it exists serves <br /> no public purpose. <br /> . � <br /> NOW, TH$REFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the petition of William <br /> M. Bracken is hereby granted by the Council of the City of Orono and <br /> that the drainage and util.ity easement legally described above is <br /> hereby vacated. <br /> ADOPTED BY: <br />� Ja s R.
