>- . <br /> . , <br /> � _ �. ,- � <br /> � � Clt o� ORONO <br /> � . � <br /> • RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L <br /> � NO. 2143 <br /> • - � � <br /> A RESOLIITION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br /> OF HAZARDOUS BDILDING ACTION AT <br /> 3960 SIXTH AVENOE NORTH, ORONO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and e�isting under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br /> and <br /> WHER]3AS, Glen Cummings, 3960 Sixth Avenue North, Long <br /> Lake, Minnesota, 55356 ; is the fee owner of record, of the <br /> property located at 3960 Sixth Avenue North, Orono, Minnesota, <br /> herein referred to as "the property", and legally described as <br /> follows: <br /> . Unplatted Section 29, Township 118, Range 23, Southwest 1/4 <br /> of Southwest 1/4 South of railroad land; PID: 29-118-23 33 <br /> 0001; and <br /> • Unplatted Section 32, Township 118, Range 23, Commencing at <br /> Northwest corner of Northwest 1/4 then East 13.83 chains <br /> thence South 3.70 chains to road then Southwest along road <br /> to West line of section then North to beginning except road; <br /> PID: 32-118-23 22 0001, (hereinafter "property") ; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the City Council of th,e City of Orono, having <br /> - ' duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br /> . Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br /> property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br /> conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes <br /> this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare , <br /> based on the fol lowing findings: <br /> 1. Fire and smoke damage to whole structure <br /> 2. Roof burned off and subject to collapse <br /> 3. Interior walls burned out � <br /> 4 . Building is in a state of deterioration and <br /> dilapidation, thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant <br /> to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br /> Section 203. <br /> • ------ -- <br /> • � 5. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by <br />� the Building Official on February 3rd and 18th, 1987. These <br /> orders have not been complied with. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
