� r ' _ «,�.r . . _ �� Ci.t� o� ORONO � • RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L � NO. 2140 • - � • A RESOLDTIOAi ORDERING ABATEMENT OF HAZARDODS BUILDING ACTION AT ' 200 HOI,LANDER ROAD, ORONO WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, Roger W. Hollander, personal representative of the Estate of Hildur P. Hollander, of the property located at 200 Hollander Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as "the property", and legally described as follows: Outlot B, Holly Acres, Hennepin County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the barn located on the south side of the above described property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes this property • hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare based on the following findings: Lower Level: l. Concrete block has cracked in some places from movement of earth 2. East wall (concrete b�lock) is bowed in about 4 or 5 inches for approximately 25 feet 3. Building is not being used Upper Level: l. North wall is pushed out by the door 2. Posts by door also appear to be leaning 3. Hole in roof, southwest corner 4. Interior beams have improper bearing - 5. Building is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, Section 203. • 6. Orders to removed the structure were issued by the Building Official on 2/13/87. These orders have not been complied with. NOW, THER$FORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: Page 1 of 2 . _
