Alan Schmidt, 1415 Cherry Place, Mound, <br /> Minnesota, 55364; is the fee owner of record of property located <br /> in Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as "the property", and <br /> legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 3, Block 5 , Crystal Bay View <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having <br /> duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br /> Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br /> property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br /> cor.ditions which constitute a public nuisance 'and which makes <br /> this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare <br /> based on the following findings: <br /> 1. Loft area has collapsed <br /> 2. Building open to public <br /> 3 . Non-conforming structure - no principal building <br /> 4 . Wood rot throughout building <br /> 5. Junk and debris scattered around lot <br /> 6 . Building is in a state of deterioration and <br /> dilapidation, thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant <br /> to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br /> Section 203. <br /> 7. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by <br /> the Building Official on May 1, 1986. These orders have not <br /> been complied with. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
