Even though the building <br /> inspector performed the final inspection, a final certificate of occupancy has not been issued. <br /> According to the 2006 International Residential Code (IBC) section R110 and City of Orono Code Section 86- <br /> 37(4), it is unlawful to occupy a home without a certificate of occupancy.
