Upon his further requost,an indlvidual who is Ihe subjectof stored privat�or pubtic data on individuels shall be shown tha data without ariy ge to him and,if he desires,shall be infomied ofthe content and meaning ofthat data. After an individusl hes been shnwn tfie private data and info d of its meaning,the data need nnt be disolosed to hlm for six months thereafter unless a dispute or aetion pursuant tn this section is pending or ad itional data on the individual hns beca co(lxded or created. "Iha rosponsible authoriry shall provide copies of the privete or public data upon reques by the individual subject of the data. The responsible authority may require the reques[ing person to pay the actual costs ofmak ing,ceRifying compiling the copies. The responsible authority shall comply i�nediately,if poasible,with request made pursuantto this aubdivision,orwithin frve dnys of the date af the ra�uest,exclud�ng Saiurdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if inunedia compliance is uot possible. Ifhe cannot comply witli tfie request within that time,he shall so inform the individual,and may have an additiona!five d ys within whicH to compty with the request,excluding Setiudays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedune when data is not accurala or complete.An individual mey oontest the accuraCy or oompletcness of public or privaLe datn conceming himself. To exercise this right,an individual shall notify in writing the re nsible authority dcscribing tlie nanue ofthe disagreement. i'he responsible authority shel]within 30 days either. (a)coaect the data found to be naccurate or inoomplete end attempt to eotify past rocipients of inaccurate orincomplete data,including recipienls named by the individual;ar(b) tify tha individusl tf�at he believes the dala t�be correct. Data in dispute shall bc discloscd only iPthe iodividual's statement of disagroement is incl od with the disclosed data, The detemvnation of the responsible euthnrity may be appealed pursua t to tfie provisions ofthe adminiatrative procedure ect reladng to contested cases.
