Remove and dispose existing cedar shakes,felt underlayment, ice and water shield (if possible),valley fiashings, pipe flashings,and roof vents. Existing dormer flashings,step flashings, kick out flashings,drip edge,and gutter apron to remain in place and be re-used. 3. Remove existing metal hip and ridge and dispose. 4. Provide and install ice and water shield at eave and va�ley locations per local building code. , 5. Provide and install 15#felt underlayment at all areas not covered by ice and water shield. 6. Provide and install prefinished metal W valley{open style unless directed otherwise). 7. Provide and install GAF Timberline HD architectural asphalt shingles with matching hip and ridge. 8. Provide and install prefinished metal pipe flashings. 9. Provide and insta�l kitchen and bath vents at existing locations. 10. Provide and install roof ventilation to match existing. 11. Provide and install unpainted bonde�ized rnetal valley pan on main house and L shaped chimney pan on detached garage. 12. Existing chimney saddle and flashing to be re-used. a. Allstar Construction will not warranty existing chimney flashing unless replaced 100%. This can be done for an additionai charge. 13. Clean up construction related dehris and dispose. 14. Existing skylights and skylight flashings are to remain in place and be re-used. Allstar Construction will not take responsibility for integrity of skylights or flashing systems unless they are replaced with new units. 15. Due to reducing thickness of roofing material from cedar to asphalt,there may be a visible gap between the wall cladding and roofing material. Gounterffashing can be added for an additional charge.
