This is a permit for minor grading. Your application is incomplete. <br /> As part of the Casco Point Road Reconstruction project, a wetland was identified and delineated (see <br /> attached) on your property. Most of the grading you are proposing is within the delineated wetland and <br /> cannot be performed. <br /> A portion of the proposed work can be performed provided the following items are submitted (or revised) in <br /> order for the plan review to continue: <br /> 1. Identification of the Wetland Edge. Contact Orono's Public Works Department at 952-249-4670. <br /> They will visit the property and flag the delineated wetland edge based on the GPS information the <br /> City obtained during the Casco Point Road reconstruction project. <br /> 2. Dirtwork Calculations. Please provide calculations showing how much dirt (in cubic yards) is being <br /> proposed to be brought in, graded or excavated. <br /> 3. Buffer Ptanting Plan. A wetland buffer must be established 10' from the upslope delineated <br /> wetland edge and 15' in width. Please submit a planting plan which meets the requirements in City <br /> Code 78-1605(b)(3), copy attached. <br /> 4. Escrow 8� Escrow Agreement. Zoning permits involving grading and/or review by the City's <br /> engineer require submittal of an escrow and an escrow agreement. The purpose of the escrow is to <br /> guarantee reimbursement to the City of out-of-pocket costs incurred during the review of your plans. <br /> Additionally this escrow will guarantee conformance with City Code Chapter 79 relating to erosion <br /> control and stormwater. The required escrow amount for this project would be $2,000. The escrow <br /> agreement is enclosed.
