 j
iECEIVED
nelanie Curtis APR 1 3 2010
Planning and Zoning Coordinator 1TY OF ORONO
City of Orono
2750 Kelley Parkway
Orono, MN 55356
April 122h, 2010
Dear Ms Curtis:
When we originally spoke about the December 7`h, 2009 compliance letter we agreed that I would
provide a tentative schedule of when I would be in total compliance. You stated as long as there was
progress the deadline for my total compliance would be based upon my proposed schedule.
My proposed schedule for total compliance extended through July. (See bottom of my May calendar)
This was based on being able to work around any unfavorable conditions such as weather and the major
holidays. You verbally agreed to this schedule during our discussions in December, however in March
you changed the schedule based on your assertion that appropriate progress was not being made.
When we last spoke days prior to your March 315Y letter, our agreement was that I needed to complete
the items I had committed to have complete through March based on my initial schedule. This is to
confirm our verbal agreement did not include the skid loader by April 15'h 2010, however l did agree
that the skid loader would be in compliance by end of May.
During our last meeting, I also asked the specific definition of when a piece of construction equipment
could be on the property when in use for a home improvement project. I have yet to receive that
cfarincation.
The April 15th, 2010 inspection is to include only the following items from the letter dated December 7`n
2009:
January Calendar
-27 Inoperable 1985 Pontiac, no plates—Completed
-29 Trailer MV CGT8082—Completed
-30 Trailer MN 2550CAT—Completed
-31 Trailer MN CMT9148—Completed
