RESOLUTlON OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> -- ;;. � < . . <br /> ° NO. 2045 <br /> � x , �� <br /> ...,'b; ���.,.�, <br /> ,.• .-,.�...:... , <br /> ,,.y,,,y:'f <br /> ��� <br /> A RESOLDTION RSQIIESTING <br /> THE HENNEPIN CO�IJTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> TO CONDDCT A TRAFFIC STODY <br /> ON NORTH SHORE DRIVR <br /> (COONTY ROAD 19) <br /> WITHIN THE CITY OF ORONO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono has received a petition from <br /> the public requesting a reduction of the speed limit an a segment <br /> of North Shore Drive (County Road 19 ) from Bayside Road (County <br /> Road 18) south to the 35 MPH zone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono staff has reviewed the <br /> petition and request and has determined that a traffic study be <br /> • conducted on that segment of North Shore Drive. <br /> NOW, T�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br /> the City of Orono does hereby request the Hennepin County <br /> Department of Transportation to conduct a traffic study on North <br /> Shore Drive (County Road 19 ) beginning at Bayside Road (County <br /> Road 84) south to the posted 35 MPH zone. <br /> BE IT FIIRTH$R R�SOLVED that the traffic study be <br /> conducted between the months of June and September of 1987 during <br /> favorable weather conditions. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono <br /> Minnesota at a regular Council meeting on the 8th day of <br /> September of 1986. <br /> � <br /> • Mary C. �u; er, Mayor <br /> ATT T: � <br /> othy M a li ,� City Clerk <br /> • <br />
