In 1987 the city notified property owners on Casco Cove that boat ramps and canopies <br /> on the shore were illegal. It is not clear if the one on your property was removed or not. Nevertheless <br /> these structures are still illegal even if you are replacing an existing one. <br /> Therefore the city must require you to remove the structure. A deadline of November 10, 2014 has been <br /> established for compliance.
