' . . . . <br /> � � Clt o� ORONO <br /> � <br /> � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � <br /> � NO. 1995 <br /> • � • • <br /> A RESOLIITION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br /> OF HAZAI2DOOS BIIILDING ACTION AT <br /> 1305 $lmwood Road, Orono <br /> WH$REAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br /> and. � <br /> WH$RBAS, Muriel Hammer, 1305 Elmwoocl Road, Orono, <br /> Minnesota, 55364; is the fee owner of record of property located <br /> at 1305 `Elmwood Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as the <br /> Property, and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 1, Block 7 Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County; and <br /> y WHEREAS, the City Council of� the City of Orono, having <br /> ' • duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br /> Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br /> property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br /> conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes <br /> this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare <br /> based on the following findings: <br /> 1. Building has all interior sheet rock and finish material <br /> removed without required permits. <br /> 2. Roofing has been installed without permits and never <br /> completed. <br /> 3. Cistern in front yard full of water and accessible to <br /> children playing in the area. <br /> 4. Junk and debris scattered around the lot'. � <br /> . 5. Garage is being used for commercial storage without <br /> required license or inspections; window busted out. <br /> 6 . Building is in a state of deterioration and . <br /> dilapidation, thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant <br /> to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br /> Section 203. <br /> i � 7. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issuecl by <br /> the Building Official on May 5, 1986. These orders have not <br /> been complied with. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
