' <br /> A RSSOLUTION DECLARING <br /> THE INTERSECTION OF WILLOW DRIVE <br /> AND STATI3 AIGHWAY 12 AS <br /> A DANGEROOS INTERSECTION <br /> • WAEREAS, the Orono City Council is concerned with the <br /> safety,•� health and welfare of the citizens of Orono; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono City Council is concerned with the <br /> safe and reasonable traffic flow in the City; and <br /> �,. <br /> � <br /> WHEREAS, a recent traffic fatality at the intersection <br /> of Willow Drive anc3 State Highway 12 has prompted a study of the . <br /> traffic patterns of that intersection and area; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the study has determined that consideration of <br /> * � th� installation of a traffic semaphore at that intersection <br /> should be given priority. <br /> .� <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City <br /> Council does c3eclare that the intersection of Willow Drive and <br /> State Highway 12 is a dangerous intersection and that the <br /> Minnesota Department of Transportation place this intersection on <br /> a priority for the installation of a permanent traffic semaphore. <br /> - Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br /> Minnesota at a regular meeting held May 12, 1986. <br /> /' �J <br /> ( Mary C. t er, Mayor <br /> ATT T: • <br /> othy .
