The City has
reviewed the site. The pavement was extended over existing gravel in order to eliminate
erosion, minimize maintenance and improve aesthetics. Given that the area was gravel,
which is an impervious surface, there is no increase in hardcover by paving over it. The
City has concluded that the area will remain in its current state.
Should you have any further questions feel free to contact either myself or Jared Ward
with Bonestroo.
Sincerely,
Don DeBaere
City of Orono—Public Works Supervisor
Telephone(952)249-4600 • Fax(952)249-4616
www.ci.orono.mn.us
