The hardcover calculations indicate <br /> 34%hardcover in the 75-250'zone. City ordinances restrict lakeshore properties to 25%hardcover <br /> in the 75-250' zone. <br /> Your options would be to remove hardcover(for example,plastic under rock and/or narrowing the <br /> driveway)or to request a variance from the City Council. Based on past experience,I think the City <br /> Council would be reluctant to issue a variance in this case. They would first require you to remove <br /> nonessential hardcover, so I suggest you attempt to bring the property into compliance.
