Lot 7; Block l, French Creek; P.I.D. #10-117-23 32 0006 <br /> Lot 8, Block 1, French Creek; P.I.D. #10-117-23 32 0007 <br /> Lot 9 , Block 1, French Creek; P.I.D. #10-117-23 32 0008 , <br /> Outlot B, French Creek; P.I.D. #10-117-23 23 0004 <br /> (hereinafter "property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of <br /> Orono to permit the regrading and dredging of a designated wetland <br /> retention basin (known as "Pond A" of the French Creek Plat) for <br /> aesthetic and wildlife purposes. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R13SOLVED by the City Counci 1 of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1005. • <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br /> February 18, 1986, and recommended approval of the proposed <br /> variance to Section 10.55, Subdivision 8 and recommended approval <br /> of a conditional use permit for the regrading of Pond A based on <br /> the f o 1 lowing f indings: <br /> A) The proposed grading will not have a significant effect <br /> on the water quality of the watershed or on the hydraul.ics <br /> of the local drainage system. <br /> B) The pond serves as a debris and silt collection basin, <br /> • and this will not change as a result of the proposed <br /> grading.
