Cit� o� ORONO <br /> • � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 1921 <br /> • - • � <br /> A RSSOLUTION OF COUNCIL GRANTING THE <br /> ADMINISTRATOR SELECT APPOINTMENT AUTHORITY <br /> � , <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono deems it <br /> appropriate to grant certain authorities to the Administrator to <br /> insure the appropriate and timely operation of the organization, , <br /> and � <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2.06 provides for certain powers to the <br /> Administrator as does Resolution �189P1, and <br /> WHEREAS , Mark Bernhardson was appointed as City <br /> Administrator effective 1 May 1985. <br /> NOW, THERSFORS BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council grant to <br /> Mark Bernhardson the following appointing authority; <br /> a.) The authority to interview and recommend persons for <br /> iappointment to positions of employment with the City at <br /> a regular Cduncil meeting. <br /> b.) The authority to appoint a temporary person prior to <br /> the regular meeting of the Council when the person is to <br /> meet an emergency need or to prevent a significant loss <br /> of work to the City. <br /> c.)
