: _ <br /> ,. . <br /> , <br /> d Cit� o� ORONO <br /> • � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> i' � NO. 1859 <br /> • � • • <br /> A RESOLIITION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF <br /> HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT 3445 CRYSTAL SAY ROAD <br /> WHER$AS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> ' WHER$AS, Gloria McDonald, 3445 Crystal Bay Road, Wayzata, � <br /> Minnesota, is the fee owner of record of property located at 3445 <br /> Crystal Bay Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as the <br /> Property, and legally described as follows: <br /> That Part of Lot 4 lying South of Road and Northerly of a <br /> � line running from a point on Westerly line thereof <br /> � distance 113 5/10 feet Northerly of Southwest corner <br /> thereof to a point�on Easterly line thereof distance 83 <br /> feet Northerly of Southeast corner thereof, Wiley' s <br /> Park Lake Minnetonka Lot 4, Block 1. <br /> • WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br /> considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 <br /> . to 463.261, hereby finds that the vacant building on North side of <br /> property is unhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br /> conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes �this <br /> property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare based on <br /> the following findings: <br /> 1.Roof leaks. <br /> 2.Interior has been damaged by water (rot, etc. ) . <br /> 3.Exterior walls - wood rotten at bottom. <br /> . 4.Is not hooked to City sewer. <br /> S.Is full of debris and stored items which have been damaged by <br /> water - fire hazard exists. <br /> 6.Building is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, <br /> thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota <br /> State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, Section 203. <br /> 7.Orders to removed the structure were issued by the Building <br /> Official on June 24, 1985. These orders have not been <br /> • complied with. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
