' .i <br /> t- •' <br /> �. � C�t� o� ORONO <br /> • � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 1856 <br /> • ' • • <br /> , A R$SOLIITION ORDERING ABATEME.'NT OF <br /> HAZARDODS BUILDING ACTION AT 3905 NORTH SHORE DRIVE <br />- WHB�tSAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation • <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />� WHEREAS, Mrs. Dale F. Berquist, 3895 North Shore Dr. , Wayzata, <br /> Minnesota, is the fee owner of record of property located at 3905 North <br /> Shore Drive, Minnesota, herein referred to as the Property, and <br />` legally described as follows: <br /> Section 17, Township 117 , Range 23 That Part of Government <br /> Lot 2 described as beginning at a point on North line thereof <br /> � distance 1231.75 feet West of the meander corner of said <br />"` North line thence West 47 feet thence South at right angles <br /> S distance 148 .5 feet thence East at right angles 47 feet <br /> thence North beginning except road. <br /> . WHER$AS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br /> . considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 <br /> to 463 .261, hereby finds that the above described property is <br /> unhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which <br /> constitute a public nuisance and which makes this property hazardous <br /> to the public health, safety and welfare based on the following <br /> findings: <br /> 1. Roof Caved in. <br /> 2. Building open to Public. � <br /> 3. Building has been damaged by fire. <br /> 4 . Building is�in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, <br /> thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant to <br /> Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br /> . Section 203. <br /> 5. Orders to remove the structure were issued by the Building <br /> Official on February 15, 1985. These orders have not been <br /> complied with. <br /> � Page 1 of 2 <br />
