Yorks and Patricia Yorks (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br /> owners of the property located at 282� Casco Point Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "City") and legally described as follo«-s: <br /> Lot 117, Spring Park, including that part of Lake Shore Avenue, vacated, and that part <br /> of the land between said vacated avenue and the shore of Lake Minnetonka lyinb <br /> between the sidelines of said Lot 117 eYtended to the shore of Lake Minnetonka, <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota (herein after "the property"); <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on October 18, 1999, at which times all persons desirin� <br /> to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zonin� Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 (L) (2) to allow <br /> 3,919 s.f.
