The <br /> walls were constructed to replace tleteriorated walls on the property. <br /> After phone discussions with the retaining wall contractor, we believe the walls were constructed using <br /> typical timber wall construction practices. The walls are approximately four feet tall and are supported with <br /> timber"deadmen"at reasonably spaced intervals. Also, the contractor states that drainage was provided <br /> behind the wall. We believe this is an adequate installation. <br /> Since no design drawings or calculations were submitted prior to wall construction,we did not conduct an <br /> engineering review.
