NO. 1817 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN <br /> PLACEMENT OF NO PARKING SIGNS ON OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br /> BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 6 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 12. <br /> WHEREAS, the City� of Orono determined several years ago <br /> that a public safety hazard existed on Old Crystal Bay Road ai3j acent <br /> to the Orono s chool distri ct complex; and � <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono posted the entire length of <br /> Old Crystal Bay Road as a no p�rking area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono Police Department has studied <br /> • the parking situation and has found that parking is not a public <br /> safety problem in the area from County Road 6 to the south entrance <br /> to the Orono High School complex; and � <br /> NOW, therefore, be it resolved th at the City Council of <br /> the City of Orono hereby authorizes and directs the Public Works <br /> Department to remove those no parking signs now in place on Old <br /> Crystal Bay Road south of County Raad� 6 to the south entrance of <br /> the Orono High School compZex. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a <br /> regular council meeting on July 22 , 1985. . <br /> \�� \ \ v . . . . . . . . . <br /> - Mary C.
