It is uncicar from the <br /> file whether Council had scen the "octa�onal" v�rsion of the deck plans, �vhich <br /> version was submitted for the building permit but�vhich was not built. Also, il miglit <br /> be concluded from either version that some e�pansion of the existing deck was <br /> proposed. 'I'he resolution wording could be construed as assuming the deck uli�;ht <br /> be rebuill. (Ultimately, we vie�v tliis as inconsequential, because the variance and <br /> permit expired long before the existiiig deck was Cinally replaced). <br /> - The porcl�/deck plans sub�uitted for the building permit sl�owed an octagonal <br /> conriguration, apparently proposing to sli�htly revise tlie footprint of the existing <br /> deck aild add a stairway at lhe soull�end. Those plans were approved by Tom Jacobs <br /> on 8/23/88, and permil#1140 ior "cleck extension/scrcen pocch addition" was issued <br /> on 8/31/88.
