The application was reviewed as Zoning File No. 931. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Lakeshore Residential <br /> , Zoning District. <br /> � 3. On June 17, 1985, the Orono Planning Commission reviewed the : <br /> application as proposed and recommended approval, based on <br /> the following findings: � <br /> . A) The 70 feet of shoreline is not high enough for rip rap to <br /> be effective. Y <br /> B) The installation of the sand blanketwill prevent further <br /> erosion of black dirt into the lake. <br /> 4. The City Council has considered this application including <br /> the f�iridings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, <br /> � reports by staff and comments of the applicant and the effect <br /> of the proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of� the <br /> . � community. � <br /> .
