SECTION 10.20, SUBDIVIS�ON 3 (G) <br /> FILE NO. 905 <br /> WHEREAS, Dennis Thompson (hereinafter "the applicant") <br /> has an interest in the property located at 250 Old Crystal Bay <br /> Road within the City of Orono (hereafter "City") and legally <br /> described as follows: <br /> That part of Lot l, Auditor's Subdivision Two Hundred <br /> twenty-nine (229), Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to <br /> the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the <br /> Registrar of Titles in and for said county, lying Southerly ' <br /> of a line drawn parallel with and 240 feet Southerly of, as <br /> measured at right angles to, the North line of said Lot 1 <br /> and lying Westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 1,070 <br /> feet. Easterly of, as measured at right angles to, the West <br /> � line of said Lot 1 (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br /> Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.20, <br /> Subdivision 3 (G) to permit a guest/caretaker apartment within <br /> the residence located at 250 Old Crystal Bay Road. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File No. 905. <br /> � 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Rural Residential ' <br /> Zoning District. � <br /> 3 . The property contains approximately 16 + acres of area. <br /> 4. The property can meet the required area standard for two <br /> residental units. � � <br /> 5. The apartment is for the sole use of the owner and shall <br /> not be rented. <br /> 6. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed the application <br /> at their meeting of April 15th, 1985 and voted unanimously <br /> to recommend approval of the application finding that it <br /> satisfied all standards of Section10.20, Subdivision 3 (G). <br /> � 7. The City Council has considered this application in- <br /> cluding the findings and recommendations of the Planning <br /> Commission, reports by staff and comments of the applicant <br /> and the effect of the �proposed use on the health, safety and <br /> welfare of the community. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
