Czt� of ORONO . <br /> ;� .�� <br /> '`.`;z��� ' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ?�7y' <br /> NO. 1736 <br /> 1. e:k � <br /> .Y;a..u: ' . <br /> � � � � <br /> .'.."�;�• . i <br /> TAX FORFEITED LANDS RELEASED <br /> FOR PRIVATE SALE TO � <br /> ADJACENT OWNERS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, the City <br /> lias received from Hennepin County a list of lands within the <br /> City which have become the property of the State of Minnesota for <br /> non-payment of real estate taxes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for <br /> • compliance with Tocal zoning ordinances, for the amount of out- <br /> standing special assessments remaining unpaid to the City, and/or <br /> for possible public use by the Ci.ty as authorized by the <br /> Statutes. ' <br /> . NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Counci 1 of <br /> the City of Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, hereby <br /> approves the classification of each of the followin� parcels of <br /> land as non-conservation land, and furthermore, �pproves the <br /> public sale of each parcel of land as listed below to adjacent <br /> property owners. , <br /> All parcels remain subject to all applicable zoning <br /> ordinance provisions, including those regulations providing for <br /> minimum lot area and minimum lot width. Substandard parcels may <br /> be useable only"in combination with other adjoining parcel(s). <br /> Release of these lands by the City Council is subject <br /> to the condition that all outstanding special assessments shall . <br /> be paid in full to�� the , City upon return to private ownership. <br /> Any amount not recovered at the time of sale shall be subject to � � <br /> -reassessment by the City. <br /> • � <br /> � � • . . <br /> , • page 1 .of 2 , <br />
