The weekend of Thanksgiving I started construction on an ICE Fishing House. The
structure is far from complete. It is my hope to have it completed if we do ever get any ice this season. I
have built it next to my garage to keep it out of the way and make it less of an eye sore to my neighbors and
my family.
To that end, I have designed the structure to look like my house and garage. I even have painted it the
same colors. However,I cannot imagine that this could be mistaken for an addition to my garage. It is
clearly a separate structure. It is not attached in any way, shape or form to my garage. There is no access
from my garage to the structure.
As an Ice Fishing House, the structure needs to be freestanding and in fact moveable. I am currently
working on the sled design to pull the structure on and off the lake. It is my intent to store the structure on
my property while it is not on the ice. Is there some ordinance in relation to what I can and cannot store on
my property? Is this any different from a boat, boat trailer or the tenting of my boats for winter?
Please let me know how you want me to proceed and why.
Sincerel,,
' y< ,
—
,`
William F.
