Cit� o� ORONO <br /> • �� ���:�Y <br /> � � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 't�'-�c. <br /> f . <br /> � �..�,.�,:�s' NO. 170 6 <br /> • ; �.. •t - <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLAT O�' <br /> BALSAWOOD � <br /> FILE NO. 839 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of rlinnesota; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has <br /> adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and <br /> safe development of land within the City; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council has considered the <br /> application for a subdivision by Jeffrey P. Stebbins, the <br /> subdivider; and • " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has granted variances to <br /> Section 10.03 Subdivision 6 (b) Combination of Separated Parcels <br /> • prohibited based on the following findings: <br /> l. Lot 2, Block l, Balsawood with a total of 3 acres <br /> of area has been. found to have suitable and adequate <br /> area on both sides of an intersecting private driveway <br /> so that a principal structure , a primary and <br /> alternate on-site septic system can be located on the <br /> property meeting all standards for rural development <br /> within � the City. <br /> . 2. The existing driveway was placed without any <br /> consideration of future development of the subject <br /> property and could be relocated if necessary. <br /> WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements <br /> of the platting regulations of the City, includinq: <br /> l. Dedication on the plat of drainage & utility <br /> easements. <br /> 2. Dedication on the plat of right-of-way for a public <br /> road, shown .as Watertown Road. <br /> • <br /> page 1 of 3 <br />
