Edward L. Beck (hereinafter "the applicant" ) is <br /> owner of the property located at 1280 North Arm Drive within the City of <br /> Orono (hereinafter "City" ) and legally described as follows : <br /> Lots 7 , 8, and 9 , Block 3, Saga Hill Revised (hereafter <br /> "property" ) , and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of <br /> Orono to permit the creation of a temporary guest apartment within the <br /> walkout level of the existing house at 1280 North Arm Drive by <br /> constructing separate kitchen facilities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> � FINDINGS <br /> � l. This application was reviewed as zoning file #856 . <br /> 2 . The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential Zoning �District. <br /> . 3. The property is approximately 0 .75 acre in area. . <br /> 4. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed thisapplication <br /> ' on September 17 , 1984, and recommended approval of the <br /> � proposed variance to the 2 acre lot area requirement for the . <br /> temporary second dwelling unit per Zoning Code Section <br /> 10 . 08, Subdivision 3 (A) (7 ) , and recommended approval of a <br /> conditional use permit for the temporary guest apartment, , <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> a) The guest apartment is for use of family members <br /> only. - <br /> b) This guest apartment use may not be conveyed to a <br /> purchaser of the property. <br /> ' c) The guest apartment may not be rented out. <br /> � d) This use is subject to City review at the end of <br /> four years. <br /> page 1 of 4 <br />
