The Chief of Police will keep $1,000 in his office safe <br /> for emergency purposes . <br /> 2. The President, Vice President, . Chief of Police, or in his <br /> absence, the Assistant Chief, can independently write a <br /> � check on the Orono Crime Prevention Fund account up to <br /> $1,000 . If the amount is over $1,000 .00 , there must. <br /> � . be either the signature of the President or Vice President <br /> " � and also the signature of the Chief of Police, or in his <br /> absence, the Assistant Chief of Police. <br /> � 3. If monies are to be withdrawn or transferred from the <br /> savings account, there must be either the signature of <br /> the President or Vice President and also the signature <br /> of the C'hief of Police, or in his absence, the Assistant <br /> Chief of Police. <br /> Pavment Guidelines <br /> 1. The C'hief of Police, or in his absence, the Assistant <br /> Chief of Police, may spend up to $1, 500 .00 independently <br /> for any police purpose which will assist the Police Depart- <br /> ment in a police investigation. � <br /> 2. If the Chief, or in his absence, the Assistant C'hief, wishes <br /> to spend over $1,500 .00 for any police purpose, he will <br /> contact two executive board members and obtain their <br /> approval. . <br /> Rewards <br /> 1. Rewards relating to property crimes may be offered up to <br /> $500 .00 . � <br /> 2. Rewards relating to crimes against the person may be <br /> . offered up to $1,000 .00 <br /> � <br />
