�o� <br /> 0 0 <br /> � �� - CITY of ORONO <br /> r� �` ,., �,, <br /> �',� `��,` ' G'�'� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �`�x.EsKo4� No. 5 7 8 2 <br /> CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon the above findings, in conjunction with the construction of a new house the <br /> Orono City Council hereby grants variances to: <br /> A. Orono Code Section 78-350 to allow a 4 foot by 6 foot portion of an existing deck that <br /> is within the 10 foot side setback from the north property line to be replaced by a <br /> screen porch; and <br /> B. Orono Code Section 78-350 to allow the roof over the portion of the existing house <br /> that is within the 10 foot setback from the north property line to be replaced by a roof <br /> of a different shape; and <br /> C. Orono Code Section 78-1403 to allow an attached garage to be built to replace the <br /> existing detached garage resulting in 17.7 percent structural coverage; and - .. <br /> D. Orono Code Section 78-1288 to allow 41.6 percent hardcover in the 75 to 250 foot <br /> . zone. <br /> These variances are subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Council approval is based on the site and house plans submitted by the Owners <br /> and annotated by City staff, attached to this Resolution as Exhibits A and B. <br /> Any amendments to these plans may require further Planning Commission and <br /> City Council review. <br /> 2. Structural coverage shall be limited to 2,253 s.f. or 17.7%per the proposed site <br /> plan as depicted on Exhibit A and the calculations on Exhibit B. <br /> 3. Hardcover in the 0-75' zone shall be limited to 0 s.f. and hardcover in the 75- <br /> 250' zone shall be limited to 3,359.7 s.f. or 41.6% per the proposed site plan <br /> and hardcover allowance summary as depicted on Exhibit C. The owners are <br /> advised that any future requests to increase hardcover or change the nature of <br /> existing/approved hardcover shall require City approval, and increases in <br /> hardcover will not likely be approved without concurrent reduction in existing <br /> hardcover. <br /> 4. No glazing or walls shall be installed on the screen porch. <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
