Melanie Curtis
From: Melanie Curtis
Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2014 4:37 PM
To: 'Joey Handtmann'
Cc: Scott Oberaigner; Adam Edwards; 'Brandon Wisner'
Subject: RE: 2618 Casco Point Road
Attachments: DSCN5170.jpg; DSCN5171.jpg; DSCN5172.jpg
]oey
Can I get an update on the status of this project? The property owner is currently blocking the roadway with a load of
material and has been repeatedly damaging the adjacent city property. Without City permission to use the City property
for access they should have been required to access the project from the lake.
We are currently drafting a letter to the property owner to be sent tomorrow with some action items.
Melanie Curtis 952.249.4627 mcurtis@ci.orono.mn.us
From: Joey Handtmann [mailto:JHandtmann@minnehahacreek.org]
Sent: Wednesday, October O1, 2014 4:31 PM
To: Melanie Curtis
Subject: RE: 2618 Casco Point Road
Melanie,
I stopped by the site last Friday to see if any wetlands were within the proposed work zone. While I was there, I did
notice that the path to the far end of the site had a small bridge and semi-deep tire tracks along the way. I didn't put
two and two together at the time, but now it's very obvious that that path is outside the property lines. I've attached the
proposed site plans for the sandblanket permit. Unfortunately, the proposed site plans are very large and we are unable
to scan it, so they're in picture form. Since it has not been issued yet, I can't give you a copy of the permit. As soon as it
is issued, however, I'll make sure you get it ASAP.
If there's anything else I can do to help, please feel free to let me know.
loey Handtmann
Joey Handtmann
District Representative
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
15320 Minnetonka Boulevard
Minnetonka, MN 55345
Direct: (952) 641-4517 (
Main Office: (952)471-0590 r .jI V
v-
Fax: 952-471-0682 /
www.minnehahacreek.org
l.
MINhEkAHA CREEK
WATERSMED DISfRICT
1
