The only building permit on record for the existing boat house was issued in 1971 for <br /> construction of a single-story structure capped with deck,approximate size of the structure according <br /> to the permit file is 20' X 30'. According to our files, no other portion of the boat house or attached <br /> deck have had building permits issued. For any work to occur on the portions of the boathouse <br /> w7thout a previous building permit, or to allow any major structural repairs to the foundation of the <br /> single-story will require City Council approval. <br /> I have included with this letter a copy of a variance application form and copies of the Municipal <br /> Code sections relating to setbacks and non-conforming structures.
