Over the years the structure has been worked on many times without building <br /> permits or City approval. You seem to be carrying on the tradition. The building had a stop work <br /> order posted on it prior to your purchase of the property. Another stop work order was posted 2 <br /> weeks ago when a contractor was preparing to replace the rear wall of the foundation. When I <br /> returned on August 11, 1999,the foundation work was done. I also noted that the deck was replaced <br /> and work was being done inside the building. <br /> Work without a building pernut and working on a structure within 75' feet of the lake is a violation <br /> of Orono Municipal Code. The City would like to meet with you to discuss bringing the property <br /> � into conformance. Lega1 action may be initiated if the issues cannot be resolved.
