Upon his furch�r requesc, an individual who is the subjecc <br /> of stored private or public da�a on individuals shall be shown che dac�wi�hout any charge to him and,'if he desires, shall be informed of the content <br /> and meaning of chat data. Aher an individu�l has been shown che priva�e data and informed of irs meaning, [he dara need not be disclosed to him for <br /> six mon�hs[hereaiu.r unless a dispute or acdon pursuan�co chis secaon is pending or addidonal daca on the individual has been collec[ed o�creaced. <br /> 'Ihe responsible authoriry shall provide copies of the privace or public data upon request by che individual subject of[he data. The responsible autfioriry <br /> may require rhe requesdng person to pay the accual coscs of making,cerrifying,and compiling the copies. <br /> The responsible auchoriry shall comply immediately,if possible,with any request made pursuant to this subdivision,or wichin five days of <br /> the da[e of�he reques�,excluding Sacurdays.Sundays and legal holidays,if immediace compliance is noc possible. If he cannot comply with the requesc <br /> within tha�cime,he shail so inform[he individual,and may have an addidonal Fivz days wichin which to comply with the requesc,eYcluding Saturdays, <br /> Sundays and legal holidays. <br /> Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. An individual may concesc the accuracy or compleceness of public orpri�•ate <br /> data concerning hunse(f. To exercise[his richt,an individual shall noa"ry in writin,che responsible au�horiry describing the nature of the disagreement. <br /> The responsible auchoriry shall wichin 30 days ei[her: (a)correcc the data found to be inaccurdte or incomplete and aaempt to nodfy past recipients of <br /> inaccurate or incomplete data, including recipien�s named by [he individual; or(b)nodfy [he individual that he believes che data to be cocrecc.
