In the interim please forward your emails to Melanie and Lyle (copied on this
email) and feel free to copy me on any and all emails.
I discussed your concerns with Lyle earlier today and he indicated he had been out to the site today and met with the
contractor. Lyle believes the temporary erosion control measures in place now will prevent further impacts to your
property. Lyle is confident that the approved grading plan can be implemented once construction on the house gets a
little further along. He has also indicated he will try to get the home builder to pay attention to the grading on your side
of the lot as soon as things dry out.
Based on the photos you submitted I agree that the excess dirt between the new home and yours should and could be
removed now. I discussed this with Lyle and he will get the contractor to get this done as soon as conditions permit.
I hope this is the last of the encroachments onto your property as a result of this project. Please keep me in the loop and
I will do what I can to help under the direction of Melanie.
Tha n ks,
Tom
Tom Kellogg, PE ---
Associate
Tel 651-604-4863
Cel I 651-775-5637
tom.kel logg @bonestroo.com
Bonestroo
From: Ronald G Dudley [mailto:ron_dudley@biz-transformations.com]
Sent: Monday, August 24, 2009 9:55 PM
To: Kellogg, Tom P
Subject: Water Run-Off
Tom......Writing just to you to get your independent views. Since I do not have any surveyor training or
equipment to measure elevations I cannot say far certain that the grading on Fred Peters property doesn't
conform to the plan, but my eyeball sure seems to believe it is about 2-3 feet above my property at critical water
run off points.
Who does the check to be sure the work is according to plan and when is the check made so that corrections are
still possible if necessary?
Am I reading the plan correctly that elevations would be matched across Fred's property so at the property
i
