Along with the application submit plans for the patio construction and
hardcover calculations, prepared by a registered land surveyor, confirming the existing and
proposed hardcover numbers are in compliance with the resolution. Additional escrow funds
would not be required for this project. An as-built survey with hardcover calculations would be
required after the exterior work is complete.
• The built-in patio benches and grill surround shall not exceed 42" in height. If the property
owner wants to proceed with any portion of the patio exceeding 42" in height, an average
lakeshore setback variance request would be required.
Grading within 75' of the lake.
• The stump of a dead tree to be removed and land alteration to blend the soils is allowed if kept
under 10 cu. yards. Landscaper must provide fill amount and movement calculations.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at 952-249-4620 or at
cmattson(aci.orono.mn.us.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ORONO
„
,
c
Christine attson
Planning Assistant
Enclosure: Zoning Application
Telephone (952) 249-4600 • Fax (952) 249-4616
www.ci.orono.mn.us
