The submittal <br /> information is as follows: <br /> Owner: Banks Residence <br /> Wall Design Engineer: Civil Solutions Group, LLC <br /> Certificate of Survey: Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, LLC certified October 16, 2007 <br /> Retaining Wall Submittal: October 16, 2007 w/wall specification and section <br /> Date Received: October 31, 2007 <br /> This is a privately owned retaining wall which is an extension from the existing retaining wall <br /> on the property. We have reviewetl the design submittal for conformance with the <br /> International Building Code. <br /> The Civil Solutions wall submittal has provided factors of safety for overturning antl sliding for <br /> the retaining wall design. <br /> No geotechnical information was provided for the design, but the tlesign engineer assumed the <br /> foundation soil to be sandy lean clay with a bearing capacity of 2000 psf. <br /> Summary of Comments: <br /> • The retaining wall is in conformance with the International Building Code and was signed <br /> by a Professional Engineer. <br />
